An NPA sheet calculated as of any date, shown with the dark theme built for long working days.
Overview.
Fin Manager is an offline desktop system for a vehicle-finance business. It replaces a legacy Clipper (dBASE) program with double-entry books, loan and EMI management, and the statutory-style reports the business runs on, all in one fast window.
It is built for people who live in it all day: every screen is keyboard-first, layouts are dense, and legibility is a design rule. The screenshots show a fictional demo company with invented customers; no real data is shown.
What stood out.
- 01
Books that always balance
Vouchers post through a double-entry ledger engine, so the trial balance and balance sheet reconcile to the paisa, and every EMI receipt lands against the right instalment.
- 02
Loans from sanction to foreclosure
Flat, reducing-balance and custom schedules, overdue and upcoming EMI lists, foreclosure statements, and an analytics hub with NPA, CIBIL, provisioning and interest sheets.
- 03
Safe by design
Data stays on the machine in SQLite files with automatic integrity checks and replicas. Backups can be encrypted with AES-256-GCM, activity is logged in a tamper-evident chain, outbound network traffic is blocked and idle sessions lock themselves.
